- light sanding,
- primer (1-2 coats)
- paint
- decals
- clear coat
Here is one car that basically ruled the roost for quite a few years and oval series across the country. This one based loosely on ASA style entries, you notice no “A” pillars. Mainly because they are so fragile that printing them just wasn’t going to work without supports and adding them just wouldn’t look right.
And the fact they did race them like this with just the roll bars and safety glass doing all the work. The front “nose cone” was a common pop-rivet style that made it easy to replace and that design has stayed with oval racing to this day. Searching for prototypes will tell your eyes all they need to make a bad-ass Showdown entry.
