Crown Gears

Crown gears are used for inline applications where the motor shaft is at a 90 degree angle to the rear axle.  Crown gears generally have hubs made from bronze or aluminum.  Bronze is slightly heavier; however, it is more durable and is less sensitive to lubrication.  Aluminum hubs are slightly lighter but require constant lubrication to prevent premature wear.
