Policar PCW02 Lotus 72 Gold Leaf No. 22, LIMITED EDITION (1,600 pcs. worldwide). This car competed in the 1970 Monza GP - the driver was Jochen Rindt. Tragically, Jochen Rindt was killed during practice when the car suddenly veered left into the Armco barriers while braking from top speed to negotiate the right-hand Parabolica corner. Lotus had intentionally removed the rear wing in an attempt to match other competitor's top speed on the very fast Monza circuit.
This is a highly detailed 1:32 scale analog slot car. Includes collector's presentation box and numbered collector's card.
