HRW 3A3D Asphalt Late Model Limited Edition - "The Order of 8 Series"

Harry Wise has created and prepared eight (8) Limited Edition 3A3D Asphalt Late Models.  Features include:

  • Body wet sanded with 600g.  Ready for you to wash and finish
  • Body mounts (brass inserts) installed (drilled and press fitted)
  • Chassis guide mount pre-drilled for the included SlotInvasion guide
  • Pod mounting tabs have been shaved and set flush (you will need to fine tune).  Refer to our video on recommended final inspection / preparation.
  • Gear side bushing mount shaved / filed to allow pan head "clearance Clarence".  Refer to video and try using M2 set screw instead
  • Pod bushing mounts filed for easy bushing / alignment (see video)
  • Pod mounted to chassis.  Adjust as required.
  • Chassis has been temp mounted to the body to assist in keeping body alignment during extreme humidity / heat shipping conditions
  • Clear poly "Racing Interior" with driver bust (unpainted).
  • Spare "glass" sheets for making your own glass if you decide to.
  • Assorted decals

In addition to the items included in this kit, you will need to purchase front axle assembly, rear axle assembly, slim can motor, and any other items required to complete the build (see list below).  If you decide to finish the body and interior, you will need to provide paint, decals, etc. as well.

Parts you will need to complete the kit (not included):

** IMPORTANT ** - Clearance between the "back" of the motor and the rear axle is very miminal.  If you plan to use a Predator motor, you shouldn't have a problem.  Other brands (e.g. Slot. It, NSR, Piranha) have a slightly larger motor can configuration.  If you plan to use one of these brands, the axle may interfere or bind with the can.  A potential solutions is to use a Slot.It center turned axle that has a reduced diameter along the center section.
